National Desk, 9th December: Border Security troops thwarted the movement of a suspected drone near Maboke village in Ferozepur district of Punjab on December 9 at around 10:10 pm.

Promptly following the established procedure, the troops swiftly responded by firing on the drone to intercept it.

Subsequent to the operation, BSF troops conducted a thorough search, leading to the discovery of a small drone along with a hold and release mechanism in the farmland adjacent to village Rohilla Hazi.

The recovered drone is identified as a Quadcopter, specifically the DJI Mavic 3 Classic model, manufactured in China. This incident follows a similar occurrence on November 14 when BSF troops successfully shot down a Pakistani drone in Ferozepur district.
