Punjab: China made drone along with suspected narcotics seized in Amritsar

National Desk, 17th December: Vigilant troops of the Border Security Force (BSF) on December 16 seized a drone along with suspected narcotics weighing approximately 545 grams, wrapped in yellow adhesive tape on the outskirts of Dhanoe Khurd Village in the Amritsar district.

The narcotics packet, connected by a rope, was found in a farming field adjacent to the village. The seized drone is identified as a Quadcopter (Model – DJI Mavic 3 Classic, Made in China).

Conducting a joint search operation, Punjab Police and BSF successfully seized both the drone and the packet of narcotics.

An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
