PV Narasimha Rao, Chaudhary Charan Singh & MS Swaminathan To receive Bharat Ratna
National Desk, 9th February: Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a historic announcement on Friday, revealing that the prestigious Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian award, will be conferred upon three eminent personalities who have left an indelible mark in their respective fields.
The distinguished recipients of the Bharat Ratna are former Prime Ministers PV Narasimha Rao and Chaudhary Charan Singh, along with renowned agricultural scientist Dr. MS Swaminathan.
PV Narasimha Rao, revered as a distinguished scholar and statesman, served India with distinction in various capacities, including as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and Union Minister. His visionary leadership paved the way for India’s economic advancement, laying a solid foundation for the nation’s prosperity and growth.
