Rafael Nadal beats Novak Djokovic to clinch 13th French Open title

Rafael Nadal clinched his 13th French Open title by thrashing World no.1 Novak Djokovic 6-0, 6-2, 7-5 to win the  prestigious French Open title. Rafael Nadal has now tied with Roger Federer’s 20 Grand Slam title. After winning the title Rafael Nadal said “Honestly, for me, one month and a half ago if you tell me you’re going to have this trophy with you again, I will say, ‘this year will probably be too difficult’.

He further also added “Doubts are part of life. For me doubts are good because it means that you don’t consider yourself too good. Of course, the year has been a tough year for everyone.” Rafael Nadal has won 13 French Opens, 4 US Open titles, 2 Wimbledon titles and 1 Australian Open title.
