Guwahati: The Income Tax Department raided the residences and establishments of three businessmen today of the metropolis. According to the information received, the IT teams have campaigned at the residence and establishment of young businessmen Rishi Gupta, Umesh Bedia, and Sandeep Agarwal.
Rishi Gupta is a government contractor, supplier, and real estate developer, while Umesh Bedia is a well-known real estate developer as well as works in many government departments. Sandeep Aggarwal is said to be a relative of Umesh Bedia. As per the sources it has been informed that the Income Tax Department along with Lav Lashkar attacked the residences and establishments of these three. The teams of the department also reached the employees of these businessmen. The Income Tax Department’s raids are on till the filing of this news. It is not yet confirmed what the Income Tax Department got in this campaign.
