Randhir’s statement: Ranbir Kapoor tested positive for Covid-19
Ranbir Kapoor has reportedly tested coronavirus positive. When Randhir Kapoor (the actor’s uncle) was approached for a statement, he initially agreed that he has tested positive for Covid-19 but later he was quick to add that he isn’t quite sure. A Pinkvilla report stated that Ranbir Kapoor has tested positive for Covid-19 and a source close to the actor revealed that he is under home quarantine currently. Neetu Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor’s manager had been approached for confirmation but they have not responded yet. When Randhir Kapoor was asked whether Ranbir has tested positive for the virus, he responded to it saying, “Yes”. However, he quickly added, “I believe he is not well, but I am not sure what he has got. I am not in town.”
Ranbir Kapoor is currently awaiting the release of Shamshera and Brahmastra. While Shamshera is set to hit the screens on June 25, 2021, the makers have not yet announced the release date of Brahmastra. Shamshera stars Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt in key roles. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, Brahmashtra marks his first collaboration with girlfriend Alia Bhatt. The actor is also part of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal and Luv Ranjan’s untitled next.
