Guwahati: The 49th National Children’s Science Exhibition will take place at the Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra in Guwahati.
This was informed by the Assam Education Minister Ranoj Pegu on Sunday.
While addressing to the media, the education minister announced that the four-day event would take place from November 22 to November 26.
Pegu informed that the National Council for Educational Research and Training (NCERT), situated in New Delhi, is in charge of organising the show.
The cabinet minister further stated that the Assam government and NCERT are working together to help plan the expo.
He stated, “The show will include participation from over 400 children from a total of 24 states in India. As many as 19 groups from Assam will take part.”
In addition to schoolchildren, teachers of science and child scientists will be among the resource participants in the scientific expo, he said.
Furthermore, the state education minister informed that the Inauguration ceremony of the event will be attended by the Governor of Assam, Prof. Jagdish Mukhi. In addition, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma will also be present there.
