Rashtriya Bajrang Dal Members Detained After-Arms Training Video Surfaces

Guwahati, 2nd August: In a swift response to the recent controversy surrounding the Rashtriya Bajrang Dal, the Darrang Police detained two members of the organization on Wednesday. The detention comes shortly after the police registered a case against the group.

The detained people have been named as Gopal Boro and Bijoy Ghosh, according to sources. At his home in Mangaldoi, Bijoy Ghosh was detained, and Gopal Boro, a resident of Udalguri’s Dimakuchi, was also brought into prison.

In light of these developments, the police have launched an extensive manhunt to track down other members of the organization who are currently evading authorities.

The case was registered on Tuesday after a video went viral on social media, allegedly showing Rashtriya Bajrang Dal members undergoing arms training, including handling small guns, at a school in Mangaldai. The video depicted around 350 young men participating in the training, which included martial arts, weapons handling, survival skills, quick thinking, politics, and Vedic rituals. The trainees ranged from ages 18 to 30.

The emergence of this video has ignited debates and raised concerns about the use of firearms during training and public gatherings. Authorities are closely monitoring the situation to ensure the safety of citizens and adherence to regulations.
