RCB Star Glenn Maxwell to tie knot with Indian-origin fiancee as Tamil wedding card goes viral

Guwahati: The top all-rounder for Australia and the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) Glenn Maxwell is all set to marry his Indian-origin fiancee, Vini Raman, on March 27.

As a result, the big occasion’s wedding card has been printed in the Tamil language and is doing the rounds on social media sites.

Actress Kasturi Shankar shared the wedding card on her Twitter and wrote, “GlennvMaxwell marrying Vini Raman. Going by the cute traditional Tamil muhurta patrikai, we’d bet there may likely be a TamBram ceremony… Will there be a white gown wedding too? Congratulations Glenn and Vini!”

Maxwell and Vini were engaged before the Covid pandemic in 2020. They’ve been dating for a while, and photos of the two have caused a stir and been a hot topic of conversation since 2017.

According to reports, Maxwell’s better half Vini is a practicing pharmacist in Melbourne.

Maxwell may miss the first few games for the Virat Kohli-led RCB camp due to their wedding on March 27, which is supposedly the start date for IPL 2022 in India. The Bengaluru-based camp has retained him for INR 110 million (INR 11 crore) ahead of the 15th edition.

The 33-year-old all-rounder is currently playing in Australia’s five-match T20I series against Sri Lanka at home. On Wednesday, the Aaron Finch-led T20I World Champions thrashed Sri Lanka by six wickets in the third match to grab a commanding lead in the five-match series (February 15).
