The ‘Real Cricket Championship’ esports cricket event has been launched by FEAI and JetSynthesys

JetSynthesys, in collaboration with the Federation of Electronic Sports Associations of India (FEAI), has announced the Real Cricket Championship, India’s largest esports cricket event to date. Real Cricket, developed by JetSynthesys subsidiary Nautilus Mobile, is the most popular and competitive mobile cricket franchise in the world. Jet Skyesports Gaming Pvt. Ltd, one of India’s leading esports organizations with grassroots play, will host the first-ever e-cricket global series and championship.

India now has 150,000 esports players and 60,000 teams, with the number expected to rise to 1.5 million by FY 2025. JetSynthesys and FEAI announced the Real Cricket Championship at the recently conducted FEAI national conference on October 21, 2021, ahead of the Asian Games 2022, which will incorporate esports as a medal event for the first time in the history of all such competitions. The competition will have qualifiers in each state, with the state winners competing in national tournaments building up to a national championship.

The competition will take place under the auspices of the FEAI. The tournament registration will open and be publicized in the next few days. Due to the popularity of the game and Skyesports’ Grassroot penetration, the event is likely to witness unprecedented participation.
