Guwahati: In a horrific incident, the body of a person was recovered at Guwahati’s Basistha on Thursday.
The incident reportedly occurred in lane 13 at Kinara-kata in the city’s Basistha locality.
Locals suspect that some criminals killed the person and dumped the body there.
Various items apparently were found close to the deceased at the same time.
Moreover, it has come to light that the dead person was a professional driver. His name has not been released as of yet.
Local police took notice of the incident and arrived at the site. They have started an inquiry and are using a sniffer dog to search the area.
