National Desk, 23rd October: In a surprising turn of events, renowned actor Gautami Tadimalla has announced her resignation from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), claiming that senior members of the party have been aiding an individual who allegedly swindled her of her properties.
Taking her concerns to the platform ‘X’ (formerly known as Twitter), Gautami disclosed her longstanding 25-year affiliation with the BJP, underscoring her dedicated service to the party.
Gautami went on to reveal a distressing personal ordeal involving an individual named C Alagappan, whom she befriended two decades ago and entrusted with the management of her properties. She explained, “I entrusted him with the sale of my lands, and it was only recently that I discovered he had defrauded me of the same. All the while, he pretended to welcome me and my daughter as a part of his family.”
Amid an ongoing legal process, she expressed her profound disappointment that her party did not support her and that certain senior BJP members were providing assistance to Alagappan.
“It is shattering to realize that there is a complete lack of support and, moreover, that several senior members of the BJP have been enabling Mr. Alagappan in dodging justice and absconding since the last 40 days even after the FIRs have been filed,” Gautami alleged.
In her quest for justice, Gautami expressed her hope that Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, the police department, and the judicial system will provide the assistance and resolution she seeks. This development has highlighted the actor’s commitment to pursuing justice in the face of adversity.
