Renowned Assamese Litterateur Rongbong Terang Hospitalized, admitted in ICU in Diphu

Guwahati, 7th April: Renowned Assamese litterateur Rongbong Terang, celebrated for his literary masterpiece ‘Rongmilir Hanhi’, is currently battling illness.

The esteemed writer has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Diphu Medical College Hospital, Assam.

This development has sparked a layer of concern among his admirers and the literary community at large.

Terang, a Padmashree Awardee for his significant contributions to literature, holds a special place in the hearts of Assamese literature enthusiasts. His influence extends beyond his acclaimed works, as he has also served as the president of Asom Sahitya Sabha for two consecutive terms, further cementing his stature in the literary realm.
