Guwahati: A one-horned rhinoceros was recovered dead at the Orang National Park in the Sonitpur district of Assam on Thursday.
The Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) present at the scene informed that the rhino died due to old age.
According to reports, a local veterinarian also verified this.
The carcass was found near the Pisolamukh forest area in the national park.
