Rich countries have brought too many Coronavirus vaccines: Report

According to reports rich countries have brought enough vaccines of COVID-19 for their populations nearly three times over by end of 2021. Few days ago Britain had approved Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine this month to vaccinate its 1.5 million people.

Global vaccine programme scheme known as COVAX to deliver some 2 billion doses by the end of 2021. WHO has said “updated data shows that rich nations representing just 14% of the world’s population have bought up 53% of all the most promising vaccines so far,’ it said. Nearly 70 poor countries will only be able to vaccinate one in ten people against COVID-19 next year unless urgent action is taken.”
