RJD President Lalu Prasad Yadav Admitted To ICU In Patna Hospital
Guwahati: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Lalu Prasad Yadav was brought to a private hospital on Monday after becoming ill less than 24 hours after breaking his shoulder.
Yadav is reportedly receiving care in the intensive care unit (ICU) right now.
According to a hospital employee who spoke to PTI, “He has been brought here with complains of several symptoms, which relate to his shoulder injuries and other conditions which he suffers from, including kidney difficulties.
But he went on to say that making assumptions about whether the former chief minister of Bihar might need to be referred to a better facility in Delhi would be premature.
Tej Pratap Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav, along with Yadav’s wife Rabri Devi, were present in the hospital.
The RJD leader fell on the chairs on Sunday, breaking his right shoulder. He resides in the house that was designated for his wife because she was a former CM.
The Jharkhand High Court granted Prasad last month permission to travel abroad, preferably to Singapore, to receive a kidney transplant while he was free on bail in crimes involving the fodder fraud.
