Road Accident Claims Lives of Two Assam Students in Nagaland
Guwahati, 8th June: A fatal road accident in Nagaland’s Sankki has left the community mourning the loss of two promising young lives. The victims, identified as Akash Goyala and Dwipjyoti Gogoi, were students of Chandra Kamal Bezbaruah College in Teok, Assam.
The heartbreaking incident occurred during a visit to Nagaland, where the students, accompanied by three friends, encountered tragedy. While on their journey, Akash and Dwipjyoti tragically fell into a ditch, plummeting approximately 200 feet below a hill.
Akash Goyala, a native of The Brahmin village of Janji Garhmoor in Sivasagar, and Dwipjyoti Gogoi, from Tamulisiga Chapori village in Teok, were beloved members of their respective communities.
The swift response from the Nagaland Police facilitated the recovery of the bodies of these two promising students, bringing closure to their grieving families and friends. The untimely loss of Akash and Dwipjyoti has left a void in the hearts of all who knew them, and their memories will forever be cherished.
