Robbery Incidents Shake Assam’s Beltola, Biswanath, and Katigorah

Guwahati, 3rd August: On Thursday, Beltola, Biswanath, and Katigorah witnessed alarming incidents of robbery, leaving locals on edge and authorities on high alert.

In Beltola, miscreants struck on the main road of Jaya Nagar, targeting a parked Bolero vehicle owned by Manoj Sharma. While he was away shopping, the robbers seized the opportunity and looted cash from the vehicle.

In a similar incident in Biswanath, criminals broke the glass of a car parked near Bishnu Priya Market on Pabhoi Path and stole a whopping amount of Rs 20 lakh. The money belonged to Dhullie Tea Estate and had been withdrawn from the bank by the manager and two other employees.

Meanwhile, at Katigorah in Cachar, the police made a significant breakthrough by apprehending two robbers who had been evading the law for an extended period. The arrested individuals were identified as Paki Miya and Fakrul Islam.

Local authorities have intensified their investigations into these daring robbery cases, seeking to bring the perpetrators to justice and ensure the safety of the public.
