Rozgar Mela: PM Modi Distributes 70,000 Appointment Letters
National Desk, 13 June: Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke at the National Rozgar Mela and presented over 70,000 employment letters on Tuesday to recently hired employees in numerous government departments and organisations.
The chosen candidates from all over the nation will join the government in a number of departments including among others, the Department of Financial Services, Department of Posts, Department of School Education, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Defence, Department of Revenue, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Department of Atomic Energy, Ministry of Railways, Department of Audit and Accounts, and Ministry of Home Affairs. Prime Minister’s message included connections between the Mela and 43 locations across the nation.
Speaking to the crowd, Prime minister said that as more than 70,000 people received recruitment letters today, the National Rozgar Mela has evolved into the new face of the current government. He expressed delight that comparable Rozgar Melas are routinely held in states with BJP and NDA rule as well.
Even though the Azadi Ka Amrit Kaal has just began, Prime Minister Modi said that it is still a very important time for individuals who are joining the government because they would have the chance to help make India a developed nation within the next 25 years. “Along with the present, you must give everything for the future of the country”, the Prime Minister said. Modi expressed his congratulations to the new recruits’ families on the occasion.
Prime Minister discussed the expanding economic options for employment and self-employment. He listed programmes like Stand Up India and the Mudra Scheme. He claimed that these young people are now creating new jobs. The push to provide young people work in the government, according to the prime minister is unparalleled. With new processes, organisations like SSC, UPSC and RRB are creating more jobs. These organisations put a lot of effort into making the hiring process straightforward, clear and simple. According to him, they have shortened the recruitment period from 1-2 years to a few months.
“The entire world is eager to partner with India in its growth journey today”, the Prime Minister remarked as he highlighted the trust of the world in India and its economy. He also emphasised that the Indian economy is expanding as he listed today’s problems such as the worldwide pandemic, the economic downturn and the supply chain disruption brought on by the ongoing conflict.
India is a stronger, safer and more stable nation now than it was ten years ago, according to Modi. He remembered a time when government in the past was characterised by fraud and abuse of the populace. “Today, India is known for its political stability which means a lot in today’s world. Today, Government India is recognized as a decisive government. Today, the government is known for its progressive economic and social decisions”, he said.
International organisations are recognising the efforts being made to make life easier, build infrastructure and make doing business easier. Prime minister said in his closing remarks that the recruits must work with complete empathy for the nation’s residents.
“You have to take these reforms further. And with all this, you will always maintain your learning instinct”, Modi said. He also touched upon the online portal iGoT which recently crossed the 1 million mark in user base and urged them to take full advantage of the courses available on the online portal.
“In the journey of the next 25 years of Amrit Kaal, let us together move forward towards realizing the vision of a developed India”, the Prime Minister concluded.
