Rozgar Mela: PM Modi to Give 71,000 Appointment Letters

Guwahati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will present around 71,000 employment letters to newly hired employees on Tuesday as part of Rozgar Mela.

According to a statement released by the PMO on Monday, PM Modi will use videoconferencing to address the new hires during the event.

The Rozgar Mela is a step in the direction of the Prime Minister’s promise to give the creation of jobs the highest priority.

The Rozgar Mela is anticipated to serve as a catalyst for further job creation and give young people worthwhile opportunities for their empowerment and direct involvement in national development.

75,000 newly appointed employees under Rozgar Mela received appointment letters earlier in October.

“The physical copies of the appointment letters to the new appointees will be handed over at 45 locations across the country (except Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh),” the statement said.
Posts for teachers, lecturers, nurses, nursing officers, doctors, pharmacists, radiologists, and other technical and paramedical positions are now being filled in addition to the categories of positions already filled. The Ministry of Home Affairs is filling a sizable number of positions in various Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF).
According to a PMO release, the Prime Minister will also introduce the Karmayogi Prarambh module.

The module is an online training programme for all newly appointed employees in different government agencies.

According to the statement, it will contain a code of conduct for government employees, workplace ethics and integrity, human resource regulations and other advantages and allowances that will assist them quickly adapt to the new rules and roles.
“They will also get an opportunity to explore other courses on igotkarmayogi.gov.in platform to enhance their knowledge, skills and competencies,” the PMO statement said.
