Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has announced that all the families of the “martyred” Assam Police personnel will be given financial assistance of Rs 50 lakh each.
Sarma on Tuesday further announced that apart from the financial assistance to the families, one member from the families of the martyrs will be provided with a government job each. Apart from this, the persons who were injured in the clashes will be given financial support of Rs 1 Lakh each.
