Russian FM Lavrov Warns of Real Danger of World War III
Guwahati: Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov warned against an imminent World War III after peace talks with Ukraine continue to fail looming in the forefront of both the sides
In a press conference, Lavrov slammed Ukraine’s approach to the peace talks.
“There are bounds to goodwill. “However, if it isn’t reciprocal, it won’t help the bargaining process,” he added.
Lavrov said that Kyiv had offered a draught agreement during the recent conference between Russia and Ukraine in Istanbul, Turkey, which indicated a break from Kyiv’s earlier position.
Lavrov also stated that Russia will continue to negotiate with the delegation appointed by Ukraine’s President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
He did clarify, though, that Zelenskyy was merely appearing to be involved in peace discussions.
He said, “He’s a good actor.”
“If you pay attention to what he says and monitor what he says, you’ll find a thousand discrepancies.
It may be mentioned that Lavrov warned that the danger of World War III is as real as it sounds.
