A number of state-of-the-art ambulances arrived in the state in the last few months by effort of the state government. The BJP led government brought those ambulances very quickly so that the dying patients in different areas could get this ambulance service. And because of the outbreak of this corona virus, there is a superstition in the minds of the general public that in this ambulance only patients with corona infection, or people with corona suspicion are brought and taken.
But it is completely rumored and baseless said by Sagar Saha the co-ordinator of 102 ambulance service in Khowai district. He said that the new ambulance with state-of-the-art facilities is arriving in front of the patient’s house within 10-15 minutes of calling 102. He further said that this ambulance has all the facilities for the treatment of pregnant mothers as well.
The relatives of one of the bereaved patients responded by saying that we called 102 to get the ambulance and the ambulance came to my bereaved patient very quickly. Moreover Physician Shrikrishna Pal urges the people to refrain from any kind of rumor.
