Guwahati: In a pointed response to recent remarks by Pakistan’s Army Chief General Asim Munir, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has called on India to acknowledge the enduring “civilizational divide” with its western neighbour, asserting that the time has come to abandon the illusion of rapprochement.
