Guwahati: Four scholarships for media students at the Assam Institute of Mass Communication and Media Research in Guwahati have been announced for the current academic year.
Among the four scholarships, one is sponsored by Roshmi Goswami in memory of her late father Girindransth Sharma.
Aditi Bezbaruah is funding the second scholarship in honour of the late Professor N.N. Bhattacharyya, who served as the principal of Titabar College in the Jorhat region of Assam.
However, the other two scholarships were funded by Prakash Mahanta and were awarded to Pritam Baruah.
The sponsors have received sincere gratitude from the institute.
