Scooty-Tractor Collision Claims One Life, Injures Another in Arunachal Pradesh

Kharsang: A tragic road accident occurred on the night of October 27 at Balinong Tinali in Kharsang, Arunachal Pradesh, involving a collision between a parked tractor and a scooty.

The accident resulted in the death of Jairam Deori, 50, a resident of Jagun Deori village in Assam.

Jairam Deori was traveling with his wife, Taramai Deori, 45, towards Jagun via National Highway 215, coming from the Namsai side, when their scooty collided with the stationary tractor.

Taramai Deori sustained severe injuries in the crash and was initially admitted to a government hospital in Kharsang. Due to the critical nature of her condition, she was later transferred to Dibrugarh Medical College Hospital for advanced treatment.

The tragic incident has raised concerns over the safety measures on the roads, especially with vehicles being parked along highways without adequate warnings.
