SEBA HSLC Question Papers To Include Objective Questions

Guwahati: The High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination-related notification was made by the Board of Secondary Examination, Assam (SEBA) on Wednesday.

The Board declared that there would be objective questions on the HSLC test question papers. It will take effect as of the upcoming 2023 exam.

A decision was made by the SEBA board in accordance with the New Education Policy (NEP).

There will only be four subjects with objective questions in the initial phase. However, all courses will contain objective questions in the future exam.

The Union Cabinet authorised the NEP in the year 2020. The strategy, which focuses on making the board exams simple and decreasing the curriculum while keeping core subjects, was adopted by the cabinet with the intention of bringing about changes in the way children are educated.

The University Grants Commission (UGC) and the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) have both been abolished as part of the revisions, which also involve opening up the Indian educational system to international universities.

It introduces four-year multidisciplinary undergraduate programme with multiple exit options.

It will also discontinue of M.Phil programme.
