Security Forces Conduct Extensive Search and Area Domination Exercises Across Manipur
Imphal—In a concerted effort to maintain peace and stability, security forces in Manipur conducted widespread search operations and area domination exercises across the state’s hill and valley districts. This initiative aimed at preventing incidents and ensuring public safety in areas affected by ongoing conflicts.
The coordinated exercises focused on fringe and vulnerable regions, with particular attention to securing National Highway-2 (NH-2), a vital supply route. Security personnel successfully facilitated the movement of six vehicles carrying essential goods along the highway. To ensure safe passage, stringent measures were put in place, including security convoys along sensitive areas.
A network of 108 Nakas and checkpoints was established across various districts to monitor and control movement effectively. Despite the comprehensive measures, no detentions were reported during the operations, indicating smooth enforcement without significant violations.
These efforts reflect the ongoing commitment of security forces to foster stability in Manipur and ensure the safe movement of essential supplies to its communities.
