Security Forces Conduct Intensive Operations Across Manipur to Safeguard Law and Order
Imphal: In a bid to maintain stability amid ongoing tensions, security forces in Manipur carried out extensive search and area domination operations across vulnerable hill and valley districts. The efforts aim to ensure public safety and uninterrupted supply of essential commodities.
During the operations, security forces provided escorts for 51 and 355 vehicles carrying essential goods along National Highways 37 and 2, respectively. Special convoys were deployed in sensitive areas to guarantee safe passage for these vehicles.
To strengthen surveillance, authorities set up 104 Nakas and checkpoints across various districts, closely monitoring movement and reinforcing vigilance. While security was heightened, no violations or detentions were reported during the operations.
Officials emphasized the importance of these measures in maintaining law and order, ensuring that the movement of essential supplies continues without disruption. The situation remains under strict monitoring to address any emerging challenges efficiently.
