Security Forces Intensify Measures to Ensure Stability in Manipur

Northeast Desk, 2nd October: Security forces have intensified search operations and area domination exercises across the vulnerable and fringe areas of Manipur’s hill and valley districts, as part of ongoing efforts to maintain law and order in the region.

To ensure the movement of essential goods, security convoys have been escorting vehicles along National Highways NH-37 and NH-2. On Monday, 120 vehicles traveled safely along NH-37, while 166 vehicles transported supplies along NH-2, thanks to the strict security protocols implemented at vulnerable points.

In addition, 110 checkpoints (Nakas) have been set up across various districts, both in the hill and valley regions, to enhance security and maintain stability amid the ongoing situation in the state.
