Shillong: Wooden House Engulfed in Flames, suspected Short Circuit Causes Devastating Fire
Northeast Desk, 27th November: In a tragic incident, a wooden house in Shillong, was reduced to ashes in the early morning hours on Monday.
The incident took place in Sngithiang of Lower Mawprem.
According to police information, the fire, suspected to have started around 5:30 AM, is suspected to be caused by a short circuit in the electricity line inside the wooden warehouse.
The structure, which was previously used for building coffins, was engulfed in flames.
