Northeast Desk, August 3, 2024 — Member of Parliament and BJP National Spokesperson Sambit Patra arrived at Bagdogra Airport today, commencing a two-day visit to Sikkim scheduled for August 3 and 4.
Patra was warmly received by Bikash Basnet, Press Secretary to the Chief Minister, along with Joint Secretary (Protocol) Sharmistha Pradhan, Liaisoning Officer Gopal Pathak, and the protocol unit of Bagdogra Airport.
During his visit, Patra will hold an interactive session with local stakeholders to discuss the Union Budget 2024-25, aiming to provide insights and gather feedback on the budget’s implications for the region.
The session is expected to foster a deeper understanding of the budget’s provisions and how they can be leveraged to benefit Sikkim’s development and growth.
