Sikkim Chief Minister’s Pilgrimage to Tirumala After Three Decades

GANGTOK: Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang, in a deeply personal and spiritual journey, recently visited the revered Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh, after a gap of 30 years. The Chief Minister described the long-awaited pilgrimage as a profound blessing, highlighting the immense spiritual significance of the temple for him and the people of Sikkim. CM Tamang, speaking about his emotional return to the abode of Lord Venkateswara, shared his sentiments on social media. “After 30 years, I was blessed with the opportunity to visit the sacred Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple. Offering prayers on behalf of the people of Sikkim at this revered abode was a deeply humbling experience, filling me with profound peace, devotion, and gratitude,” he wrote.
