Sikkim CM Meets MLA Tenzing Norbu Lamtha to Discuss Syari Constituency Welfare

Northeast 10th July: Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang met with Tenzing Norbu Lamtha, the Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from the 23-Syari Constituency, on July 10 at his official residence in Mintokgang. During their meeting, they discussed various welfare issues concerning the Syari Constituency.

Chief Minister Tamang announced that Lamtha has officially joined the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM), becoming the sole MLA of the Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF) party to do so. The CM highlighted that Lamtha raised several commendable concerns related to his constituency’s welfare during their discussion.

Expressing a collaborative spirit, CM Tamang welcomed Lamtha’s proposals and emphasized working together for the comprehensive development of the Syari Constituency and its residents.

Previously, in June, Lamtha, who won the Syari seat with a margin of only 1,314 votes, mentioned that he would decide on his future course of action after consulting with the public of Syari.
