Sikkim CM Prem Singh Tamang Extends Heartfelt Wishes on Rholu Diwas

Gangtok: Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang expressed his deep reverence and warm wishes to the people of Sikkim on the auspicious occasion of Rholu Diwas.

In a heartfelt message, the Chief Minister highlighted the sacred significance of the Rholu shrine and the unity it inspires among the people of the state.

Describing his spiritual connection to the revered Rholu shrine, Tamang shared, “Rholu is the most sacred shrine, where my soul is deeply moved by the divine and nurturing vibrations of Rholu Mata’s blessings. On this auspicious occasion of Rholu Diwas, my heart is filled with enthusiasm and a fervent desire to unite with our beloved people for collective worship and celebration.”

Although unable to attend the celebrations in person due to his participation in the 72nd Plenary Meeting of the North Eastern Council (NEC) in Tripura, Tamang conveyed his regret and assured the people that his spirit was with them. “Though I cannot be with you in person, my spirit is there, joining in your prayers, reverence, and celebrations,” he stated.

The Chief Minister emphasized that Rholu Diwas is a tribute to the courage, unity, and resilience of the people of Sikkim. He took the opportunity to honor their sacrifices, which he credited as the foundation of a transformative movement against past injustices.

“Rholu Diwas is a tribute to the unparalleled courage, determination, and indomitable spirit of the people of Sikkim, to whom I extend my deepest gratitude and highest respect on this auspicious day,” he said.

Urging everyone to seek divine blessings, Tamang expressed his hopes for prosperity, success, and well-being for all Sikkimese. “Your perseverance, sacrifices, and commitment to justice continue to shape our past and illuminate our path forward,” he concluded, encouraging the people to honor the day with prayers and collective reflection.
