Sikkim CM Prem Singh Tamang Installs Shri Ganesha Idol at Mintokgang Residence

Gangtok: Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang announced the ceremonial installation of a divine idol of Shri Ganesha at his Mintokgang residence, marking the occasion with prayers and devotion.

Expressing his joy and gratitude, the Chief Minister shared a heartfelt message, stating, “I feel delighted and blessed to share that the divine idol of Shri Ganesha was ceremoniously installed at the Mintokgang residence premises with heartiest prayers and devotion, seeking the well-being, prosperity, and harmony of the people of Sikkim.”

CM Tamang emphasized Lord Ganesha’s significance in Hinduism, describing him as the remover of obstacles and a symbol of good fortune, wisdom, and peace. He highlighted the deity’s association with new beginnings and spiritual upliftment, noting that Ganesha’s presence is believed to bring *stability, nourishment, and grounding.

“As a deity closely associated with the earth element, he symbolizes stability, nourishment, and grounding, reinforcing the deep-rooted connection between divinity and nature. This sacred installation serves as a source of collective blessings and positive energy for the dear and respected people of Sikkim,” CM Tamang stated on his social media handle.
