Sikkim CM Prem Singh Tamang Meets AIFF President to Discuss Football Development
Northeast Desk, 23th September: Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang held a meeting with All India Football Federation (AIFF) President Kalyan Chaubey to discuss initiatives aimed at promoting football in the state. The meeting focused on creating opportunities for aspiring footballers and enhancing the sport’s development at the grassroots level.
Sharing details of the meeting on social media platform X, CM Tamang emphasized the need to foster a football culture in Sikkim, particularly through club development and youth engagement. “Our discussion focused on the development of football in our state, exploring various initiatives that could create better opportunities for aspiring football players,” he stated.
AIFF President Kalyan Chaubey appreciated the Sikkim government’s commitment to advancing football and assured the federation’s full support in these efforts. The meeting marks a significant step towards strengthening football infrastructure and nurturing local talent in the region.
