Sikkim CM Seeks Divine Blessings at Shani Shingnapur Mandir
Gangtok: Sikkim’s Chief Minister, Prem Singh Tamang, embarked on a spiritual journey, visiting the revered Shani Shingnapur Mandir in Maharashtra on the evening of April 19th. The visit, described by the chief minister as a “divine opportunity,” was undertaken to offer prayers for the prosperity and well-being of the people of Sikkim.
In a personal reflection shared via his official Facebook page, Chief Minister Tamang conveyed his profound spiritual experience at the temple. He highlighted the auspicious nature of Saturdays, a day dedicated to the worship of Lord Shani Dev, a deity symbolizing justice, discipline, and spiritual fortitude.
“I sought His blessings and prayed for the spiritual well-being on behalf of Sikkim and our Sikkimese people,” the chief minister stated in his social media post. This expression underscored the chief minister’s dedication to the spiritual welfare of his constituents.
Concluding his message, Chief Minister Tamang expressed his hope for divine intervention. “May Shani Dev, in His infinite wisdom and grace, continue to protect us from negativity, strengthen our inner resolve, and bless Sikkim with justice, prosperity, harmony, and spiritual strength,” he wrote, encapsulating the essence of his prayer.
