Sikkim Congress Lauds Police for Swift Action in Samson Tamang Case

Gangtok: The Sikkim Pradesh Congress Committee (SPCC) has commended the Sikkim Police for their swift and decisive action in the ongoing investigation involving Samson Tamang.

In a statement issued on Friday, the party acknowledged the police department’s proactive efforts, which include issuing a Non-Bailable Warrant (NBW), deploying special search teams, and conducting coordinated raids across multiple locations to track down the accused.

The SPCC expressed full confidence in Sikkim Police’s ability to efficiently solve complex cases, citing their history of professionalism and dedication. The party particularly noted the effective use of both technical and human intelligence, which highlights the force’s commitment to upholding justice and public security.

Encouraging public cooperation, the SPCC urged residents of Sikkim and Darjeeling to assist law enforcement by providing any relevant information regarding Tamang’s whereabouts. “Public support is crucial in ensuring that justice is served swiftly,” the statement read.

Reaffirming its commitment to law and order, the Congress party extended its full support to the police department and emphasized the importance of collective efforts in maintaining justice and security in the state.
