Sikkim Gears Up for Literary Extravaganza: North Sikkim Academy to Host Second Edition of Book Fair 2025

Mangan, Sikkim – The North Sikkim Academy campus is buzzing with anticipation as it prepares to host the second edition of the Sikkim Book Fair 2025. Set for May 24th and 25th, this annual event, a collaborative effort between 24hours Inspired and North Sikkim Academy, is poised to ignite a passion for reading within schoolchildren and the broader community. The fair aims to firmly establish reading as a cornerstone of learning and personal growth.

The two-day literary celebration promises an extensive array of books spanning diverse genres, meticulously curated to cater to varied interests. Beyond the sheer volume of literature, the fair will be a hub of scholastic games and interactive activities, all meticulously crafted to captivate and stimulate young intellects. A dedicated reading corner will provide a tranquil space for students to immerse themselves in books on-site. Budding wordsmiths will have the opportunity to showcase their talents in poetry writing and recitation sessions. Vocabulary will get a workout with spirited Scrabble games, and exciting contests will see children win books as prizes, further fueling their enthusiasm for reading.

Adding an intellectual dimension to the festivities, the fair will feature insightful panel discussions. School teachers, as key stakeholders in nurturing young minds, will lead these discussions, delving into crucial topics surrounding reading habits and educational methodologies. Their expertise is expected to offer invaluable perspectives to all attendees.

Dewaker Basnet, Chief Learning Officer of 24hours Inspired, shared his positive outlook on the upcoming event.
