Sikkim Government express solidarity with Indian Army & Central Government
Sikkim Government and ruling Sikkim Krantikari Morcha party expressed their solidarity and stand with central government & Indian Army at this moment of national interest and integrity to deal with border tension with China. Addressing a press conference here at Gangtok this morning after a day when PM Narendra Modi chaired all political parties meet, Sikkim Krantikari Morcha led Government said that Sikkim is standing solidly with Government of India and will share all responsibilities to deal with any adverse situation.
As Sikkim international borders are connected with China in Eastern part which is strategically located hence Sikkim government conveyed that it will keep open all border roads and National Highways to facilitate the free movement security forces.
C P Sharma advisor to Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang appealed the Sikkimese people to be mentally prepare to deal with the ongoing adverse situation. He said that Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang on the behalf of the Sikkimese people expressed deep condolences to 20 martyred Indian army personnel, who had lost their precious lives in line of national security and said that Sikkim is standing with family members of the martyred army personnel at the time of this grief. Sharma further said that Sikkim Government has already extended it’s solidiraty in the national interest, security and integrity.
