Sikkim Kho Kho Officials Attend National Workshop in Delhi

Northeast Desk, 20th May: The Sikkim Kho Kho Association, under the leadership of President BK Roka, dispatched a delegation to participate in the prestigious National Technical Kho Kho Officials Workshop. Organized by the All India Kho-Kho Federation, the workshop took place from May 7th to May 11th at Karnal Singh Stadium.

The Sikkim delegation, led by Chief Technical Coach Anup Chakraborty, included Tilak Ojha, a Physical Education Teacher (PET) from Lingdok Senior Secondary School, and Teju Hang Limboo, also a PET from another local institution.

Expressing his elation, BK Roka highlighted the importance of such initiatives for the development of Kho Kho in Sikkim. “It is a moment of extreme pride for us to have our officials given such a profound opportunity,” remarked Mr. Roka.

Looking ahead, the Sikkim Kho Kho Association is committed to promoting the sport at both grassroots and competitive levels. “We expect more officials from Sikkim to be inspired to focus on Kho Kho,” Roka added.

Roka emphasized the power of collaboration, stating, “Coming together is a beginning, keeping together is progress, working together is success.” He called on all stakeholders to support the growth of Kho Kho, aiming to elevate the sport to new heights of recognition and achievement.
