Sikkim: Milind Soman and Ankita Konwar in Gangtok as National Ambassadors for West Point Sarathi Run
Northeast Desk, 18th February: Star couple Milind Soman and Ankita Konwar have touched down in Gangtok as the national ambassadors for the West Point Sarathi Run. Expressing their excitement for both participating in the run and exploring the scenic beauty of Sikkim, the couple revealed their anticipation for the event since receiving the invitation.
Soman and Konwar conveyed their delight in witnessing the growing popularity of running not only in Sikkim but also across the nation. Alongside participating in the run, the couple is set to engage with the media during their visit.
During their interaction, Soman initiated a conversation in Nepali, warmly asking ‘Kasto hunhuncha?’ which translates to ‘How are you?’ in English.
The Sarathi run is scheduled to kick off on the morning of February 18, with Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang officiating the event. Additionally, the Chief Minister will inaugurate the multilevel car parking at the new West Point mall, marking another milestone for the region’s development.
