Sikkim: Partial Traffic Restoration on Rangpo-Singtam Highway After Landslide

Sikkim: Traffic on the Rangpo-Singtam Highway at the 20th Mile has been partially restored following a landslide that previously caused a complete blockage. Authorities have implemented one-way clearance, with Rangpo Police Station personnel managing the flow of vehicles to ensure safety and minimize congestion.

In an advisory to the public, officials have urged commuters to avoid unnecessary overtaking, which could lead to further delays and complications at the landslide site.

Earlier, the road was entirely blocked, with an estimated clearance time of 3-4 hours. Commuters are still encouraged to consider alternate routes to avoid potential delays and ensure smoother travel.
