Sikkim: Ralak Students Spark Creativity in Collaborative Educational Drive
MANGAN, SIKKIM – A vibrant day of learning and creativity unfolded at Government Junior High School (JHS) Ralak, nestled in the scenic district of Mangan, Sikkim. The school became the focal point for a pioneering activity designed to strengthen educational ties and cultivate artistic talent among its students.
This event, a significant component of the Navodaya Vidyalaya initiative, aimed to inspire and empower students through engaging competitions and the sharing of valuable resources.
The school buzzed with activity as students participated in drawing and essay writing competitions, providing a platform for them to showcase their creative prowess and analytical skills. The competitions were carefully crafted to stimulate both artistic expression and critical thinking, encouraging students to explore their potential. The success of the event was attributed to the meticulous guidance of Principal Shilpa Herald Harry and Subash Sharma, TGT Nepali, who ensured that every student received the necessary support and encouragement. To further motivate the young participants, writing and drawing kits were generously distributed.
The culmination of the day’s activities saw students being awarded prizes for their exceptional performances, acknowledging their dedication and talent. The Headmaster of JHS Ralak Mangan expressed profound gratitude to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) North Sikkim for organizing the event, highlighting its positive impact on the students. “These activities are invaluable in helping students uncover their hidden talents and bolster their self-assurance,” he remarked.
