Sikkim Rally Champions Unity and National Solidarity Amidst ‘Sarva Dharma Evam Sarva Jatiya Sabha’

Gangtok: Gangtok witnessed a powerful display of national unity as Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang convened the historic “Sarva Dharma Evam Sarva Jatiya Sabha,” rallying citizens across all faiths and communities. He emphasized the state’s exemplary record of peaceful coexistence and mutual respect, praising the diverse population for their unwavering unity.

The gathering, a testament to Sikkim’s harmonious social fabric, saw participation from a broad spectrum of society, including religious leaders, cultural representatives, government officials, and security personnel. CM Tamang extended a warm welcome to all attendees, highlighting the event as a symbol of India’s collective strength and unity.

“Sikkim is a shining example of unity in diversity,” stated CM Tamang, acknowledging the state’s unique ability to foster harmony among diverse religious, caste, and linguistic groups. He underscored the importance of respecting each other’s traditions and cultures as the bedrock of their strength.

The Chief Minister paid homage to the nation’s armed forces, acknowledging their sacrifices in safeguarding the country’s borders and freedoms. He also credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership since 2014 for bolstering national defense and enhancing preparedness against terrorism.

“Under PM Modi’s leadership, India is strong and ready to act,” CM Tamang asserted, expressing unwavering support for the Indian government and armed forces. He called upon every citizen to uphold unity and patriotism, emphasizing that national security is paramount for India’s peace and development.

CM Tamang urged religious and community leaders to collaborate for the nation’s welfare, emphasizing the need to transcend differences and work cohesively. “Let us forget our differences and move forward together. We must always stay united and work for the future of our nation,” he reiterated.

Expressing full support for ‘Operation Sindoor,’ the Chief Minister affirmed the solidarity of the people of Sikkim and the state government with the Indian Army and security forces. He conveyed gratitude to Prime Minister Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh for their dedication to national security.

“Today, our soldiers are fighting against terrorism. We must pray for their success and safety. This is not just their fight—it is our fight as a nation,” CM Tamang declared, calling for collective prayers and contributions towards building a strong, terror-free India.

He concluded by urging every village, community, and household to participate in the national endeavor, emphasizing that the fight against terrorism is a shared responsibility, crucial for the nation’s dignity and development. “We are not just fighting for safety. We are fighting for our dignity and our country’s development. This war must be fought together,” he said.
