It should be emphasised that Sikkim as a whole is experiencing a cold wave and additional snow is expected to fall in the coming hours.

Snowfall has the additional benefit of attracting tourists. Travel agents have already begun receiving reservations from all around the country for Sikkim where a sizable number of tourists are already arriving.

It is important to note that Pelling in Sikkim is one of the greatest towns for viewing snowfall in the region.
