Sikkim Science Centre Added to State’s Official Tourist Itinerary

Northeast Desk, 5th August: The Sikkim Science Centre has been officially added to the state’s tourist itinerary, according to Sandeep Tambe, Secretary of Sikkim’s Department of Science and Technology (DST).

This decision aims to elevate the centre’s profile and offer visitors a unique experience. By incorporating the Science Centre into the tourist itinerary, Tambe hopes to broaden visitors’ understanding of science and technology.

The centre features an array of interactive exhibits and programs that cater to both children and adults.

The Science Centre boasts attractions like a 3D theatre, planetarium, and innovation hub, all designed to provide an engaging and educational experience for science enthusiasts.

Tourists will be encouraged to visit the centre and participate in its various activities. Tambe believes that including the Science Centre in the tourism map will benefit the local community and school students. It will help the local population appreciate the significance of science and technology and provide children with new learning opportunities.
