Sikkim Witnesses Enthusiastic Start to Mr & Miss Cho-Dzo 2025 Auditions

Gangtok, Sikkim – The inaugural edition of the highly anticipated Mr & Miss Cho-Dzo 2025 pageant has officially commenced with a vibrant audition event held at DawnHill. The preliminary round witnessed significant participation from aspiring young talents hailing from various corners of Sikkim, all eager to secure a spot in the main competition.

Judges present at the auditions were reportedly impressed by the diverse skill sets and confident presentations of numerous contestants, leading to the selection of promising individuals who will advance to the final stage.

The atmosphere during the auditions was described as celebratory, extending beyond conventional notions of beauty and fashion contests. The event served as a platform to showcase the unique personalities, inherent local talent, and self-assurance of the participants. A palpable energy filled the venue, with attendees offering enthusiastic encouragement and support to each contestant as they took the stage.

Adding prestige and motivation to the audition round was the esteemed presence of several notable guests. Among those who graced the occasion were Narayan Gopal Gurung, the President of 9 Barfung CLC, Panchayat member Karma Pintso Bhutia, and Sonam D. Bhutia, an Assistant Engineer from the Building & Housing Department. Their attendance underscored the importance of the event within the local community and provided valuable encouragement to the young aspirants.

Looking ahead, anticipation is building for the Discover Rabong – 8th Cho-Dzo Fest 2025, which is now just days away. This significant state-level festival is scheduled to unfold from April 11th to 16th, promising a diverse array of activities encompassing cultural performances, sporting competitions, and displays of local artistry. The festival is poised to draw a wide audience, including tourists, local families, artists, and sports aficionados from across Sikkim and neighboring regions.

A major attraction of this year’s Discover Rabong Cho-Dzo Fest will be the Chief Minister’s Gold Cup Open Volleyball Tournament, a highlight on the sporting calendar. This prestigious tournament will run concurrently with the Intrastate Volleyball Tournament, creating a dynamic sporting environment. These volleyball events are expected to attract teams from various districts, providing a valuable platform for the youth of Sikkim to demonstrate their athletic prowess and foster a spirit of healthy competition.
