Sikkim’s First Under-13 Girls’ Football Team to Compete in National Championship

Northeast Desk, 30th August: Sikkim’s first-ever under-13 girls’ football team is set to compete in the National Championship in Madhya Pradesh, marking a historic milestone in the state’s youth sports development.

The team, trained at Jautar Stadium in Soreng district under Head Coach Urgen Pintso Sherpa and Assistant Coach Prikila Tamang, is ready for the challenge.

Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang extended his best wishes to the team, expressing hope for their success.
